Vi hade bokat ett s.k. designhotell, det var ok, men inte så designat som vi hoppats.
We had booked a so-called design hotel, it was ok but not so designed that one would thought before.
Fri trådlös surf ingick. På vårt rum fanns bara en plats som fungerade,
toan. Annars fick det bli korridoren eller foajén.
Free wireless surfing included. In our room there was only one place
that worked, the toilet. Otherwise, it had to be the hallway or foyer.
Foajén var väl ok. Då kunde man passa på att ta en pilsner, också.
But in the Lobby entrance was the wifi ok, and then you could take the opportunity to take a beer, too.
Många bucklor var det och det förstår man ju när man ser hur spanjorerna
parkerade.
The many bumps was understandable when we saw how the Spaniards parked.
How get out of here without bumps?

Ett sätt att ta sig runt var att hyra cykel.
One way to get around was to hire a bicycle.

Parc de la Ciutadella. Vi landade en söndag, den dag då Barca-borna verkade fira ledigheten med picknick i parken.

En jättestor skrotskulptur piggade upp parken. Den måste vara jättetung,
ändå följde den vinden svängningar.
A huge scrap sculpture cheered up the park. It must be very heavy, still
it's swinging in the wind.
En sån här växt skulle utan tvekan platsa på Vasshult. Men vi måste vänta på att växthuseffekten ska göra sitt, förstås!
A plant like this would certainly fit in Vasshult. But we must wait for
the greenhouse effect first, of course!

Det verkar som det är så hårt och torrt i backen så rötterna måste rota sig ovan jord. Är det såna som kallas luftrötter?

Undrar om träden behållit kamouflagekläderna på sen spanska inbördeskriget?
I wonder if the trees kept the camouflage clothes on since the Spanish
Civil War?
Det fanns många fina byggnader i Barcelona, denna är dock inte äkta utan den är målad på ytterväggen.
There were many beautiful buildings in Barcelona, this is not a real wall, it is painted on the wall.
På väg till storloppisen gick vi förbi en igenbommad park som hade
tagits över av uteliggarna.
On the way to the big flea market, we walked past a closed park, which
had taken over by the vagrants.
Fora de Bellcaire heter Barcas största loppmarknad. Inte den bästa loppisen vi varit på, det mesta var av nyare snitt.
Fora the Bellcaire is Barcelona's largest flea market. Not the best flea market we have visited, mostly of merchandise was newly made.
Här ser ni exempel på vad antikbodarna sålde. Inte så antikt precis. Men
det var ju dekorativt och annorlunda mot Sverige.

But some were decorative and unusual in Sweden.
