Mitt bland alla gamla hus dyker det, då och då, upp ett alldeles modernt.
Amidst all the old houses it pops up a very modern, every now and then.

Äntligen hittade det vi saknat, de smala gränderna i gamla stan. Barca består inte bara av breda boulevarder.
At last we found what we lacked, the narrow streets of old town. Barca is not just the wide boulevards.
Två olika hus visserligen, men de illustrerar skillnaden på
förmiddag och eftermiddag. Jalusierna dras ner när solen blir för varm.

Ett helt område av krogar nere vid havet. När vi var där var det ganska tomt, kan det gå ihop sig, månntro?
A whole range of restaurants by the sea. When we were there it was pretty empty, can it be profitable?

krogarna utefter strandpromenaden. Ja, jag tog också en!

Det fanns konst och utsmyckningar överallt.
There was art and decorations everywhere.
La Rambla, Barcelonas turistfälla Nr1. Massor av folk, massor av aktiviteter, exempelvis uppträdanden och shopping.

Det fanns t.o.m. en djuraffär mitt på gågatan. Det fanns
fåglar, fiskar och sköldpaddor mm. Skulle nog inte vara ok i gamla Svedala?
There was even a pet
store in the middle of the pedestrian walkway. There were birds, fish
and turtles and more. Probably wouldn't be ok in Sweden?
Levande statyer fanns det gott om, roliga var dom men inte så imponerande som de statyer som vi sett på andra ställen.
Vi antar den här artisten var mycket liten eller hade väldigt ont efter en arbetsdag.
It was pleny of
Living statues, they were funny but not as impressive as the statues
that we have seen elsewhere.
We assume that the artist was very small or was very sore after a
working day.
Att ta ett kort med den Onde, var populärt.
Vi såg en halshuggen, ett fruktstånd, en osynlig, ett skellett, en
örnman, en hårdrockare och Chaplin, bara för att nämna några i skaran av
förhoppningsfulla statyer.
Taking a photo with the Devil was popular.
We saw one beheaded, one fruit stalls, an invisible, one skeleton, one
eagle man, a heavy metal fan and Chaplin, just to name a few in the
crowd of hopefuls statues.
Hela stan är uppbyggd av flerfiliga avenyer, alla enkelriktade så trafiken flyter bra. Här en fyrfilig boulevard dessutom med bussfil.
The whole town was built by multi-lane avenues, all with one-way traffic, they seemed to flow so well. Here a four lane plus a bus lane.
Poliserna åkte förvuxna EU-mopeder. Ett bra sätt att ta
sig fram i trafiken, antar jag. Många moppar var det. Överallt.
The policemen went overgrown EU scooters. A good way to
get around in the traffic, I suppose. Many scoters were there.
Everywhere.
I stadsparken fanns ett fantastiskt växthus.
In the city park there was a fantastic greenhouse.
Tunnelbanorna är ultramoderna och oklottrade. Se själv golvet glänser och inte en tag så långt ögat når.
The underground were ultra-modern and no graffiti. See for yourself the floor shines and not a tag in sight.
Vid Kataloniens nationalmuseum
byter fontänerna färg och
dansar
i takt till musiken,
huvudfontänen är den i bildens mitt.
At the Catalonian
National Museum the fountains change colors along with the music, the
main fountain is the one in the center.
Ingen starttid är angiven. Det startar någon gång efter mörkrets inbrott. Mycket folk.

Vi kom väldigt tidigt, så det blev lång väntan. Men det
var det värt.
We arrived very
early, so it was a long wait.
But it was worth it.

Trångt blev det när alla skulle hem.
Måste besöka museet också nästa gång.

Det var sprut hela vägen ner till tunnelbanan.
Nästa dag skulle vi vidare till London.
It was spraying all the way down to
the subway.
