While in the Czech Republic you should probably visit a brewery. We did it anyway, Staropramen.
We bought a travel card so we by went tram, bus and Metro. As a senior citizien it was very cheap. Do you hear that Swedish politicians? Nah probably not, we'll surely pay more .... |
We have gone with Subway both here and there, but we haven't gone so deep into the underworld before. Or so steep. We took the tram as we use to and went as far as it went. The houses were not as good-looking further out.
The stations were completely without commercial messages as we are accustomed with from Sweden. Additionally, the liberating free from graffiti. |
The carriages are modern, clean and tidy, no graffiti, no slit seats.
As we already mentioned Czechs were afraid of spices, but this goulash served in a bread was good. (spiced) |

On Saturday, the sun came out and it became quay hanging. It was served copiously with beer that evening. |
![]() Gatumusik fanns överallt. Här är det vid kajhänget. Dom spelade Bill Withers Lean on me. En av de bästa versioner jag hört. Suveränt! Street music was everywhere. Here it is at the quay hanging. They played Bill Withers Lean On Me. One of the best versions I heard. Great! |
In this corner they played folk music. |
Otherwise , it seems that the Czechs caught on to jazz. Even this bunch in Old Town.
That Czechs like street music we soon understood, but that it was spread to the paddock, was news. This horse would collect money for an engagement ring. Engaged really horses? |
Speaking of engagement. It's just as well that the horse plays on, this kind of flower set to the wedding is certainly not cheap.
It is not just at Järntorget in Örebro there are problems with jackdaws. |
Around all the trees were those cast iron grilles. It goes well with the sleek stone pavement, right?
When we went tram to explore the suburbs, we saw this alien on a rooftop. Is the Czech Republic invaded? |
On the second floor there was a foot massage, you know that kind of small fish munching skin residues. A funny sight with the illuminated legs.
The Czechs do not save on the colours when renovating. This is something other than concrete colossi in central Stockholm, which is the only thing that remains after the demolition hysteria. |
Not only the houses are beautiful but all the details are stunning Art Nouveau or Art Deco.
