Vi hade bara tid att bada en dag. Det fanns ju så mycket annat att göra och se. Här fattar Siwan mod.

We had time only one day to go swimming. There were so many other things to do and see. Here Siwan takes courage for a bath.

Ulf fattade också mod, det var nog inte mer än 20-22 grader i vattnet, så det var lättfattat.

Här håller storfiskarna hus. Dom fiskade upp fiskar stora som någonting emellan sardiner och strömming

Here the big fishermen of Barcelona. They caught fishes big as something in between sardines and herring.

Denna gosse hade det nog väldigt trevligt i går kväll. För mycket Sangria? Sov som en stock, ser måttligt bekvämt ut....

This boy had probably a very nice last night. Too much Sangria? Slept like a log, this don't looks so comfortable.
 

Parc Güell, även denna ritad och uppförd av Gaudi. Denna ödla eller som vissa säger drake i mosaik är typisk för Gaudi.
Gaudi bodde själv här i parken i 20 år.

Parc Güell. Also this park was designed and built by Gaudi. This lizard or dragon in mosaic is typical of Gaudi. He lived here in the park for 20 years.

Allt är uppbyggt i unika former och mycket är klätt i mosaik.

Everything is structured in unique shapes and a lot is covered with mosaics.
 

Husen är uppförda med organiska former som är unika för Gaudis arkitektur.

The houses are constructed in organic shapes that are unique to the Gaudi architecture

Utsikten från Park Guell är enastående. Hela Barcelona låg för våra fötter med Medelhavet i fonden.

The view from Park Guell is outstanding. The whole of Barcelona is at your feet with Mediterranean Sea in the fund.

Gaudis mest berömda verk är nog ändå La Sagrada La Familia. Gaudis berömda katedral.

Gaudi's most famous work is probably still the Sagrada La Familia. Gaudi's famous church.
 

Katedralen La Sagrada Familia av Gaudi har mycket mosaik och böljande former.

The Cathedral of La Sagrada Familia by Gaudi is made with lots of mosaic and wavy forms.

 Den började byggas 1882 när den blir klar är väl inte riktigt klart......

They start to built in 1882 when it will be finished is not quite clear.
 

Kolla in bergsbestigarna som jobbar på katedralen. Han i nischen verkar ha tagit lunch.

Check out the mountaineers who works at the cathedral. He in the niche seems to have lunch.

Det är inte bara Gaudis hus som är vackra och annorlunda som det till vänster, Gaudis Casa Batlló, är det till höger.

It is not just Gaudi's houses thats beautiful and unusual in Barcelona as you can see to the left, Gaudi's Casa Batlló, is the house to right.
 

Casa Batlló, var egentligen ett renoveringsarbete. utfört mellan 1904-1906, det kallas i folkmun för
Casa dels ossos (Huset av ben)

Här vilar Siwan i en fantastisk soffa helt inklädd i mosaik. Lägg också märke till det fantastiska smidesarbetet.

Casa Milà är mer känd som La Pedrera, katalanska för ”stenbrottet”. huset är ritat av Gaudí och uppförd 1905-1910.

Casa Milà is better known as La Pedrera, Catalan for "the sone quarry." House is costructed by Gaudí and built in 1905-1910.

I Casa Milá ville Gaudí undvika raka linjer, därför är många av husets tak och väggar böjda eller oregelbundna, inte två rum i hela byggnaden liknar varandra.

In Casa Milá Gaudí wanted to avoid straight lines, therefore, is many of the roof and walls curved or irregular. Not two rooms in the whole building are similar.
 

Detta är porten till Casa Milá med sitt  smide i typisk Gaudi-stil. Och du, det är inte fel på kameran, pelaren ser ut så där.

 This is the doorway to the Casa Mila's stunning forging. It's nothing wrong with the camera the pillar looks like that.

Det finns många moderna hus i Barca också, som det här komplexet helt inklätt med träribbor.
 

There are many modern houses in Barca as well, as this complex whith a facade in wooden slats.
 

Man undrar vad händer om tillräckligt många går ut i den utstickande delen till höger, tippar huset då?

We wonders. If enough with people goes out to the wing at the right, will the house tip over?

Den här typen av hus har vi sett på andra platser i världen, fråga mig inte just nu var, men ett såg vi nog någonstans i Tyskland.

This type of house we have seen elsewhere in the world, don't ask me right now where, but one we probably saw somewhere in Germany.
