Semester/Vacation |
We got ants in our pants, sure it's nice in Vasshult, but we wanted to see a little more of the world outside Laxå, where we lives. (in summer and weekends) |
So we took the car, through in the old circus-tent and went to Denmark and Germany. It was Siw, Sandra and Ulf, Joakim was on training camp for his athletics. The vacation year 2000 rained away for most people but we managed rather well. |
Check this, we could sit out, without umbrella or rain clothes. This is a Danish camping, don't ask me where. |
Now we are in Germany, in Flensburg, the door to Paradise for a beer lover. |
We where a little confused over the parking places. Just ignore the walkers, park on the pathway if it's suitable for you. Ok, we know we are a little weird here in the North, as we want to use the pavement to walking. We know that you don't even use parking places in south of Europe, you just parks the car anywhere suitable. |
In Holstein we found a old fisher village, which has been renovated to a beautiful culture village, for the rich. But the good part is that they also let the original fishers live there. One of them was Fischer, der fischer (the fisher). |
This is on the backyard of the houses with nets and fishing boat-harbor. |
Suddenly it started to bang in the neighborhood, and we heard music, fanfares and drums, this must be investigated. In the town Bad Segerberg the Germans had built a big outdoor scene with a Indian & cowboy-village. |
In true American spirit the Volkswagen bus was lacquered with scenes from the theatre, Der Ölprinz, which means the oil prince (remark: ölprins is beer prince in Swedish) and that was very suitable in Germany, the beers promised land. |
We came to Lübeck the Marzipan pigs paradise on earth. A beautiful and to big parts preserved Hansa town. |
But who cares about marzipan, when you can drink beer. |
It was sunny but cold, it was just the most devoted sun lovers who hired a sun chair. Bathing wasn't to even think about. |
So we preferred to cheat!! |
We took the bridge home. We just had to check the bridge over Öresund. We don't want to die curious. Ok, I know, I will anyway. The bridge was fairly impressinve |

That you have a whole sea over your head can get anyone to panic. Just don't think about it. That's what I call to take water over your head! |
