Everybody except Tyra is now in this old group photo. Even Loui who was born in sept-13.

Tyra arrived to this world 14 dec.
Imagine it's so long time ago we became grandparents on Joakims side too!

I am still updating the entire website, with new pictures menus etc. It will take time, but God created no hurry. Only I am impatient, I want to fix everything at once.
But it comes eventually.

Summer and sun if you're lucky that is. The Swedish summer is not exactly the most reliable. It might as well feel like autumn, cold and windy. But we can still hope for warmth where cooling baths have their rightful place.

Now it starts to get dark again, then you can do as we do, we extend the bright period with various lighting. Both inside and outside. You don't want to live in total darkness, do you?
You can walk in the woods and fields, there is always a headlamp. If there is any forest left where you live after bark beetle and Sveaskog, that is.
But if you're lucky, you can enjoy the sun on some days, nights can be magical if it's beautifully starry. Now it's nice again to cure dusk with a bonfire and candles. What's better then a cup of hot chocolate or why not coffee with whiskey in the form of Irish coffee.
The first suggestion is better for health, but the second is probably better for forgetfulness.
But it's not all about drinks to make everyday life warmer, there are other ways, you don't have to go extreme often a warm smile or a few warm words are enough. It is the kind of thing that warms in the winter darkness and other cold days better than both mesh undershirt, long underpants, mameluck or muff.

 
 Wasshult

The guesthouse is ready. It turned out so well. Now the Corona must finally end so that the guests can take advantage of it. If you want to see how the construction went, you can just click on the Wasshult button, then select the guesthouse button.

 


We have changed the spelling, at least sometimes, after we were at an association fair in Laxå. A fair where the genealogists also participated. After searching for a while in the church records, they found notes about Vasshult from 1871, which is much earlier than we previously thought.
 We thought somewhere in the late 1800s, early 1900s. Also, Vasshult was spelled with a W. Surely the name has a different sound with that spelling? So now all names must be replaced in text, names and signs. A horse's job, but it's just a matter of getting started..... Or not?


By the way, it's nice that you wanted to visit us. We've been waiting a long time for it, and now you're finally here. Not that we know what to offer, it came after all so sudden, but do you like things such as cows or tie pins, there are of lots to see. With over 800 cows, we have gathered all under the collection section. We have also extracted the collection of cheese dish covers. They can be displayed among the other collections.

 

 The newest craze is to make the barn wall a little more fun. We call it Art on the wall. There are many types of "art objects" plates, paintings, masks, etc. See for yourself under the button Collections - Art on wall. No wonder the barn capsized, we have about 700 items on the wall. The number is not exact, some blow down and replace without correcting the collection in the computer. But you have to put up with that. We do it even if it rubs a little.

Here you can see our collection of cows, the daily listing is over 800 owned and 500 stolen... You can read about a family that suffered from "mad cow disease" (we) There is apparently no cure for that disease. We have everything from cows made of ceramics, porcelain, soft toys, paintings, kitchen utensils, etc. Just click on the cow button and then select the own cows button.
Other things we collect are tie pins, hook covers, string lights, wind garden spinners/ornaments and cheese cups.

Is it something we needs badly, it is this. Please send us e-mail and come with suggestions and comments on this VERY new and completely meaningless homepage. E-mail is checked only on weekends when the father  comes home. Is it something very special perhaps someone else can check the mailbox, but it must be very special.
